Tip: anti-Cavalry tactics
Nothing like getting caught in the open, as an oncoming horseman charges forth salivating at the chance for an easy kill. But you have a couple of options to at least give yourself a fighting chance.
- At the last moment, move to the rider's left/your right of the horse. For whatever reason lots of cavalry players prefer to chop the saber to their right.
- At the last moment, drop to the ground. This won't help in the event of a trampling, but works often enough against the sword.
- If you have dynamite, throw some down and back up a few meters, presenting an easy target. As the rider approaches, make it go boom.
- As of a recent patch, anti-tank mines can blow up horses and kill riders now. Be sure to deploy a few for easy kills in likely horse paths (e.g. between the rocks on objective F in Sinai)
