Two people same IP cannot join same server in BF4

Uh, you router is assigning the same IP to both machines which it should not. Try changing the IP of one of the machines to a static IP. Are you using DHCP?

No, our external IP is the same, ie the IP computers on the internet see us on is the same. Our local IPs on our local network are different.
