11 years agoUnable to connect to EA servers to activate Battlefield 4 on this computer...
I've already Googled this problem pretty thoroughly, and tried all of the recommended fixes:
- Hold down the Windows key and press R. (This will open the Run dialogue.)
- Type cmd and press Enter. (This will open a command prompt.)
- Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
- Type ipconfig /registerdns and press Enter.
- Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
- Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
- Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
- Reboot the computer.
Did that, no change.
I have no firewalls enabled.
My hosts file is empty.
My computer is DMZ'ed on the network.
I repaired the BF4 installation.
Furthermore, I use a program to monitor network traffic of individual programs, and ActivationUI.exe establishes a single connection, sends 62 bytes of data, then returns the error after a moment of no replies.
