Unable to find servers & joining empty games on Xbox One Europe

I took a break from Battlefield 1 a few months ago, I came back a few days ago to find that the server browser only shows me 3-5 servers. My filters are only set to Europe to avoid high ping and all the others are default. I purchased the DLC but I can't actually find a server that uses these new maps. If I reset the search results the previous ones just dissapear and it usually only shows me base game conquest maps. As we know, if you just search for quick play of of a specific map rotation or game mode, it'll 95% of the time, put you in an empty server. Is this an issue with the game or is the player base on XB1 really that low?
