same here.... getting very annoyed and irritated... worst thing is when i contacted ea support they asked me if i have sufficient funds in my bank account !!! pfft..
Just to update. on the 12th try, it now took my money, but still says failed. No game added
If i didnt want to play so bad i would have given up on this. Comming from Steam to Origin is quite the downgrade

Take into account that AHQ is not EA Support. We cannot change anything from here. We play the games and use the forums here to discuss EA Games. We can sometimes help on some things, but never when it involves your client account. All of that is strictly EA Help Center's Game Adviser territory:

This is the problem with you people at EA. None of you take resposibility or are pro active with speaking to your own internal network of associates. All you do is point the finger to another department and then that department passes us on to another until someone tells us to wait and nothing gets solved. I've had so many problems with EA and origin for the last few years and till date none of them have been solved. You people are horrible at your jobs and you dont have the faintest idea what customer support is. The developers make amazing games for EA and the customer support is ludacris. Origin doesnt even hold a candle to steam. There are thousands of people with problems and all you do is ask us to take our problem somewhere else instead of actually trying to take care of this. EA equals worst customer support hands down. I give up on you guys completely.
