Unable to read disc after playing fine for two days
So i have been playing fine for two days, today i came home and suddenly mid-game got an "unable to read disc" error. Disc looked fine, the game still fires up but when i join a server i get the same message. After sifting through suggestions i cleared my cache, no good.
I thought maybe it is a problem with the xbox, gtav plays fine and smooth. Next solution, delete the HD pack and updates and reinstall from scratch, i fire up the game and get the message indicating i need to hard drive texture/addon pack, it pauses for a second and then just fires up the game without downloading the pack. So the game seems to think a 2gb file exists on my console that doesn't. Now i am stuck with a game that cannot even recognise the files it needs. What is going on here? I went from fine to having nothing but a fire up sequence in one swoop, and it isn't my console
