BF3 had the same issue and it's ridicolus that it hasn't been added in bf4, consoles require a fixed FOV because of hardware limitations, you don't want them to see too much but for pc this is close to retardation. DICE staff obviously don't have eyes.
Require a fixed FOV? No. They don't require a fixed FOV because of hardware limitations. While a higher FOV in some games could impact the performance the only reason for the lower FOV on consoles is that most people sit much farther away from the TV which would make everything in the game too small for you to see if the FOV was any higher.
The fact that you can't change the FOV in the campaign however is complete stupidity. In front of a monitor it's necessary to at least get the option to increase it. In front of a monitor it's really nauseating when it's this low. I don't understand why we can change it in multiplayer, but not in the campaign.
If anything the campaign would be the game mode where we could do it without receiving any advantages over other players.
Seriously. Patch this please.
