Unlock Bug - Elite M1911 (Codex Entry)

Hi All, after finally hitting 500 kills with the M1911 the Elite Codex entry has not unlocked for me. I have 5 service stars but no codex unlock. Looking at the progress tracker, this does not appea...

Looking at the progress tracker, this does not appear to have moved beyond, what I assume must be circa 50ish kills, picture includes.
Oddly the 50ish kills seems to align with my kill count on the Doughboy M1911 I had unlocked through pre-order. I’m may be clutching at straws but I’d hate to have to grind out 500 kills with the Doughboy M1911 if, for some reason, the codex entry is tracking that instead.

Platform is PS4

Any advice is appreciated
If you've had the game since launch,it could be because the "elite" codec wasn't added till later...so any kills you had before it was added don't count towards the 500 kills needed...that was my issue anyway.elite codec did not unlock for me till 610 total kills meaning I had 110 kills with it before the elite codec addition✌😁

Happened to me with some of them too, and could be the issue here.
