unreadable disc error Battlefield 4

THIS PROBLEM IS MARKED AS SOLVED WITH A CONNECTION ISSUE. GIVE ME A BREAK

Yep, I've been having this problem only since the latest update was installed last month - when I join a multiplayer game or start on the training range, after about 10 seconds of loading I get "disc is unreadable" error message. The disc was bought new and has very few scratches on it so the disc should definitely not be unreadable. Has a solution been found to this yet?

Aha! I tried uninstalling the game and downloading the update from March and it now works. I can only think it must have been a problem with the update when I first downloaded it.

I have had this same problem.  In fact I had this problem about 3 months ago and got fed up with EA and stopped trying to look for a fix since their response was.  "Interesting.  We don't know."  

I still haven't been able to fix it.  I tried a new disc.  that didn't work.  I reinstalled it.  that didn't work.  I bought a new xbox.  that didn't work.  All that I can think of is that it is a hard drive problem.  I bought a harddrive and installed it myself.  325 gig so it is plenty big.  But this is the only game it is happening too.  BF3 works perfectly, and a Halo, and all my other games.  It is only BF4 that is not working.  

Reinstalling doesn't seem to work. So if any of yall find a fix. Let me know.  As of now, I am just in a constant hatred of EA and their lack of care or tech support.

By the way all yall.  I finally think I fixed my disk error today.  I had to reformat my xbox and hard drive.  The pain will be reinstalling all the games, but I will do that as I play them.  But it seems to have fixed the error.....so far.

I have the same problem but after 734 hours on the game lol.
