Using controller on Pc BF4 Help

I'm trying to set up my dual shock 4 Ps4 controller on my pc to play bf4, just flying.

I Had done it years ago but can't remember how I got it.

whenever I plug the controller in it detects a controller and switches to that on the game but all the buttons don't do the right thing in game, for example the X button acts as if it is the down d-pad, the right bumper acts like X, selecting somthing.

This only happens with bf4 any other game it works fine. 

I've tried all different software, like DS4 and input mapper even just using steam big picture to launch origin. 

Anyone have any idea what it might be?
