Very Poor Performance with GTx 970m Graphics Card

Whenever I try to play Battlefield 1, I get automatically set to low settings and the FPS is less than 10 despite having a good graphics card.  I suspect that the game is using my integrated graphics...

I think it's caused by your processor, you have i7-6700HQ with 2.6 GHz, BF1 need Intel Core i5-6500 with 3.2 GHz

The i7 is actually rated better than the i5 version @Arturnox : http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-6700HQ-vs-Intel-Core-i5-6600K

@rtethekid your GPU is solid, your CPU meets the minimum specs and your RAM is at the recommended level. What are you using to set your graphics settings, GeForce experience or the in game graphics settings? Are you using any third part performance programs such as MSI afterburner?
