VOIP output device (PC)

Is there any way yo make the VOIP output device separate than the output for the game sounds?  I currently have a USB headset which I would ideally like to get the voice chat on the PC to come through, but so far the only way I can do that is to change the default device in windows which changes both the VOIP and the rest of the game sounds.
