Wanting to change/edit Platoon name

When the Platoon was first created, we created it under our 'Inside joke' name. But now that we are 86 members strong, we would like to change it to our proper name but battlelog doesn't allow it. It would be far too much work to create a new one and invite/transfer all 86 members, along with losing all our points and stats. Is there anyway this can be edited for us on the Battlelog moderators end?
