The Battlefield 1 exchange hasn't been updated in several months. Since we've waited this long, we could maybe get some good stuff from the exchange? Some good ideas would be the Howell Automatic and Lebel Model 1886 skins. We also haven't had heavy tank skins in almost forever. Maybe we could get the M1911 care package as well? If we had a good exchange like this, it would not only bring back more players, but also battlepack sales would spike due to people trying to get large amounts of scraps to get all of these skins.
The oil of empires/Gallipoli campaign operations also ended, and we haven't had a replacement operation. If we could get Fire and Ice, that would be amazing.

Hello purplevikings14,
EA has a schedule, sometimes it can take some time, but I can assure you that it will be updated eventually.

So when? We have been waiting for months.
At least you could give us a expected update date if you really do have a schedule...

I think EA DICE's schedule plan/business strategy is now determined by BF6.
It's possible that producers/managers want to move players towards BF6 by reducing the features of the "old" BF1 game (weekly game mode, weekly scrap exchange and Operation Campaigns). The order in which these BF1 features were added was also strange:
-Battlefield 1 was released on October 21, 2016.
-Initially, the battlepacks were randomly awarded to players at the end of matches.
-In March 2017, the way to obtain the battlepacks was changed at the request of the community (with progress bar).
-Also in March 2017, there was the first scrap exchange where you could buy specific skins/items.But what's interesting?
The first Operation campaign was only in November 2017.
And you had to get 2x30,000 points for the Operation battlepack.
I think the only reason of adding the Operation campaign half a year later was to allow players to farm scrap.

Still no updated exchange...

It has been over two months since the last exchange update, which has undoubtedly upset the player base. Maybe this is just a case of killing off the old games and their player bases to move them over to the new game (BF6).

I just tried the BF6 open beta. Game wouldn't run; got the standard Secureboot error message, which I wasn't prepared to fix as it's waaaay too difficult/complicated/insane to do. End of story. What's in plan for BF7? Any ideas?

I need to buy a new desktop gaming PC first because my current one (2017 config) is below the BF6 minimum hardware requirements.
Maybe for Christmas (Black Friday sales) I'll try again.
Until then, I'll continue playing BF1.
And I spend money on the BF1 game because I want BF1 live services again:-Community 2XP boost:
