I think your estimate is off by a lot. I'm at about 90% completion after less than 2 years play.
Mostly because there's a good rate of return of buying boxes rather than skins initially. I don't know when the break even falls apart, but it's around 50% or something.
@RomillyMacAran 90% doesn't mean a lot since it heavily depends on which ones are missing, how much they cost and how often the appear in the exchange (or if they even will appear ever again) which is a big problem for the secret skins and the ones that don't drop from battlepacks.
