    Battlefield 4 SRR-61 is a sniper rifle available to the Recon class only. The SRR-61, also known as the CheyTac M200 Intervention, is a bolt action sniper rifle that’s one of the most powerful and accurate weapons in the game. The Battlefield 4 SRR-61 is similar in design and performance to the JNG-90, and can be equipped with various scopes, including high-power scopes such as the Hunter scope and the  ballistic scope. Players can also add the range finder accessory, which helps zero in the rifle over longer ranges.

    TheM-200 has been seen in the "This is Battlefield 4 Multiplayer" trailer, as well as in an "Only in Battlefield 4" video and in multiple public multiplayer events. It is called the "SRR-61" in the game, named for the Jordanian 61st Special Reconnaissance Regiment, or SRR-61, who use the rifle.

You are correct. There is no such sniper rifle called SRR-61. I'm assuming BF4 did not get the rights to use the name/designation M200 Intervention. Apparently no one else seems to have a better answer than to use stupid Battlefield-pedias as a reference.

According to IGN, "The SRR-61 is a US made Sniper Rifle. The real life counterpart is the CheyTac M200 Intervention. It fires the .408 CT cartridge." (This is only partially true, because the M200 can also fire the .375 cartridge.)

This would indicate that the name was made up for BF4. However, the CheyTac M200 Intervention is also the same rifle used by the 61st Special Reconaissance Regiment in Jordan (hence the SRR-61 designation).

The first quote is per IGN, the second quote is per CheyTac. Whether EA couldn't get the rights to use M200 or CheyTac or just wanted to use something more original since CoD used it, it is a moot point. It's really no different than why they called one rifle "FY-JS" instead of "CS/LR3" or "JS 7.62", which are the real names for that rifle. I'm sure there are other guns in the game that are mislabeled, not just these two.

Just my two cents, without quoting "stupid Battlefield-pedias as reference".

    The SRR-61 is a Jordanian regiment that uses the M200 Invervention.
