i buyt the limited edition of battlefield 4 and the code i got for china rising isnt working.
i redeemded it but it doesn't let me download it.
does anyone know how i can fix this?
If you go into the PSN store, search Battlefield 4, click Add-Ons, then you should see a "choose version" if you actually redeemed the code, then you select the free version and then download. If you do not see these options you most likely never redeemed the code.

What do you mean? You redeemed the code, so code activation worked right? Did you go to your game details and tried to download it?
Do this and report back:
1.Go to Origin.
2.Log with the account, you registered your game on.
3.Go to "My Games" section of origin.
4.Press your BF4 game icon.
5.Press "View Game Details" or the "i" button.
6.Scroll down and you should see your China Rising game icon, in the BF4 expansion set.
7.Press the China Rising icon.
8.Press "Download"
9.When it is finished, install it and update it and you are all set to go.

Probably the code has expired !!
I'm not sure but every code has a date expired !
