Xbox One - Battlefield 1 - Cannot connect to Multiplayer servers

Xbox One - Battlefield 1 - Cannot connect to Multiplayer servers.

Hi All,

I've been unable to connect to multiplayer servers for the last 3 days.  I've had the game for about 3 weeks and have not had this issue before.  I've also never been kicked from a game.

My NAT is "Open" and I have a wired connection.  Tests of my connection/multiplayer connection through xbox settings show that I'm connected fine.  I'm able to get on and play other games (ie. Destiny) without issue.  

I've tried:

  • Reseting my router and modem
  • Soft and hard resets of my Xbox One
  • Joining in Quickmatch - multiple different game types (it gets stuck at the point of Matching skill)
  • Joining through server browser (tried both populated and empty servers)
  • Joining on friends that are in the game (It seems that joining friends to form a party also does not work)
  • Operations - both 40 and 64 player options

Single player campaign works fine (as would be expected). 

I am based in California.  I have a friend in Canada reporting the exact same problem.

    Hello Archi,

    Thanks for your reply.  Fortunately the issue was resolved by an account sync that occurred when I logged into the game this morning.  So, looks like it was something on EA's end.

    Battlefield 1 on Xbox One- Can not connect to multiplayer!!

    I have tried everything and read every post i can find about this issue. I had DSL originally and when trying to connect to multiplayer, it said I was connected to the internet. I have been able to play multiplayer mode on other games just fine. I have my EA account connected and hooked up just fine, I am a Gold member. I have reset my Xbox, tried wireless and plugged in, exit out of the game and back in... I upgraded my internet from At&t DSL 5mb/s to Spectrum 100mb/s. I have managed my router and restarted it. NAT is open. PLEASE someone help me with this issue!!!

    I am having this same problem.

    I OWN this game.

    it wont let me do multiplayer.. period!

    What a JOKE.

    IM SO PISSED!

    Archi, i am having this issue almost a year later and i contacted ea support. all they did was give me workarounds from forums like this and none worked. any ideas?

    did you figure it out? i see that the community manager has not commented on your problem

    I got it to work. You need to reset your Xbox or unplug it.  I.e. hard reboot.  

    I was was also able to get it to work by resetting my NAT.

    I have the same problem this has been goin on for over 5 months i have tried it all still does not work
