battle field 2142 Server Connection missing

Dear Sirs,I just installed on my PC after I think 10 years Battlefield 2142, when I try to login with my EA account the game tell me that Internet connection is not present, but of course internet is full working. The servers of Battlefield are up and running? or is it a dead game now?&nbsp;
