i dont know about some of you but lagging players is becoming a real issue on servers. im seeing alot of players with 100+ ping or close to it, and some how they will out shoot me or shoot through walls and/or the ground to kill me. This problem needs to be looked into. I have reported soooo many of these players and im getting tired of doing it. It ruins the fun of the game. something tells me im not the only person with this problem.
@punishertrd well, that's sad to hear but unfortunately you can't influence the choice of other players.
If people want to join this server you're on, even if they have a pretty high ping cause it's not supposed to be for them, they can still join.
Usually the player should decide in the server browser already which Server to join according to his connection.
If too many high ping players join a server it can easily influence the whole smoothness of the Server, which is then not good for anyone.

@punishertrd The issue there is that there are a lot of players who don't have local servers and need to join out of region ones, for example players from the UAE having to join EU servers. It's a difficult issue and I don't think there's a simple solution.
@punishertrd well, i know what you mean, but unfortunately there is not much you can do to avoid high ping players.
If they don't use server browser to brows for a good connected server and instead they get thrown into your game then, that's bad. 😳
Even tho if they do use server browser, some people don't have local servers at all and will use the next best one they have according to their connection.
Sad that the high ping people usually win cause if dealy. 🤭

I really hope something will be done with that in BF2042 (no hope for BFV unfortunately). Last week in BFV is a disaster; you got tons of chinese players on EU servers, half of them openly cheating and using racial slurs ("fu white pig" and so on, but of course no one will ban them because iTs diFfERent). And even if they don't, when you have about 8-10 people with 100+ ping on the server, it starts lagging as hell.
what needs to happen is a service and/or bot tracking servers kicks players for having too high of ping. I know this was in other games a while back but ya that would clean up the servers or a tracker would place them in certain servers due to high ping. So they could play with others with high ping. Yes I do hope that cheaters and such stay out of 2042 but if COD has a ton of them I hope EA has an anti-cheat better or I'm just leave cross play off.
Or even better, some tool that can already check the players connection to the server while trying to join one and don't even let him in that ones which he has a bad connection to and keeps searching for a better one. 😉
