a note: rewasd worked for me after some fiddling. downside is that it costs $7, upside is that is not much.
the bigger pain is figuring out how to use it as the interface is pretty confusing. i think i eventually figured out how to make it emulate the xbox360 controller and turned off the keyboard remapping, but i'm not exactly sure if i can explain how i did that.
