Battelfield 5 (Steam) Unable to Launch

 I own the game through steam and have tried every solution I could read about...tried clearing the EA app cache, reinstalling both the game through steam and the EA app itself multiple times, tried verifying the integrity of the game files, tried launching from both steam, the app and the execute file itself in the steam folder. Had a live chat with an agent and they directed me to the aforementioned articles and solutions. I've restarted my pc, made sure all my drivers are up to date, etc. Still nothing. I get to the splash loading screen then the game fails to launch and returns to the EA app without any kind of error message. What am I missing?
