Battlefield 5 audio crackling
I have looked everywhere but it seems nobody has this problem and thats why I am here. My audio, as soon as music or any sound in-game starts to play I get massive crackling and cannot hear the normal audio.
It is not because of lag
I have default audio settings
DirectX version 12
and my computer can and has run it fine before so I have no idea the problem. I even checked all the drivers and Nvidia settings.
Let us tcheck a few things:
- there is a possibility that choosing Repair after right clicking the game in Origin could fix this.
- disable nahimic in taskmanager\startup and restart the computer
- remove audio drivers with a Driver cleaner
- download and install latest audio drivers from computer manufacturer
- remove the bfv config from username\documents\battlefield v\settings and restart
- check wires of audio output
- unplug usb devices not needed
- test other speakers / headset
- remove 110/220v power cable and hold the start button for 30 seconds
- reset the bios of the system motherboard
- post a dxdiag
