Battlefield 5 crash

So I get into Battlefield 5 game and after a few minutes it just crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, done updates, drivers...just can't figure this out

  • Found workaround of mitigation crashes in company mode. May be it could be also applied to multiplayer mode (can`t check so as i am playing on cracked version and only single company is available as an option)

Just delete or move somewhere "Battlefield V" folder in Documents and start the game again.

    namely: C:\Users\<Your User>\OneDrive\Documents\Battlefield V

    Done!

Checked on my laptop and pc of another guy which also had crashes.

Works fine in both cases after this "fix".) Crashes are not reproducible anymore.

    Hope it helps someone.

  • Hey, make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

Noticed that after the last Nvidia graphics drivers Battlefield 5 crashes with error code ”the video card was removed from the system”. Got any updates on fixing that?

What are your PC specs to include OS? If using Win 10 are you using DX11 or DX12?

  • SOLUTION FOR ME. For weeks I had tried everything mentioned to stop battlefield v crashing. Eventually I fixed it so it runs perfectly by performing a clean install of GPU drivers and disabling freesync.

It fixed it for me. At last!

  • This is on the older side of time, I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield V, please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
