battlefield 5 Freezing Upon Launch

When launching battlefield 5, my computer freezes during the loading screen. This includes the cursor, which becomes unresponsive. When I minimize the game window, my computer unfreezes, but when I return to the game, it freezes again after loading for about half a second. I've tried reinstalling the game, updating my drivers, disabling overlays, and running the game as an administrator, but the issue persists. After this error happens on Battlefield 5, it seems to carry over to other games as well AFTER launching battlefield, freezing my computer upon launching them. I have 32GB of RAM and a 1660 Ti Max-Q graphics card. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
