3 months have passed and we still can't play a game we payed for, pathetic. I think it's safe to say now that EA is the most incompetent company in 2023. If I were a US citizen I would have sued their * for something like this...
you found a solution? i just downloaded it and it wont start i tried administrator mode windows 8 mode clean cache....
@ShadowxTenebris I have found a solution that worked for me and I've been trying for weeks. Go to your file explorer then OneDrive. Go to Documents then Battlefield V. Then go to settings and open "PROFSAVE_profile" in notepad. If you get an error saying that one drive isn't enabled, search OneDrive in your windows search and click the first one and it should ask you to log into your Microsoft account. once your logged in go through the steps again to open PROFSAVE_profile in notepad. When you open it in notepad, hit CTRL+F to open a search bar. Within that search bar, search Dx12Enabled. If the value is 0, put it to 1 and if the value is 1 put it to 0. I also put my EA Desktop admin permissions.
make sure to go to the top and hit file then save once done.
unfortunately didn't work for me, gotta love ea. . .

Hey, it's worked for me!!! Thanks a lot
Uninstall the EA version of battlefield 5, when you go to play on steam it should validate and properly install a new computer you should be able to play it then you have to make sure the EA version of the game has been completely deleted
I found a solution and published on my Youtube channel, I pray you can solve the problem. https://youtu.be/PF6h6zsRogc
