Battlefield 5 wont launch
Help bf5 will not launch. At first it would launch but it would crash or lose connection when I tried to get into a game, I then tried to repair the game and now it will not launch. Origin just minim...

Same problem here guys. Got the game today, download, install, not launching. Repaired files, uninstall origin. reinstalled origin. Win up to date, directx also etc. Game just wont start. The max point it went was to the brightness V setting and that was it. I really appreciate any help.
Had the exact same issue. I followed all the tips like updating Windows 10, Graphics Drivers. Deinstalling BFV and Origin, reinstalling both. Clean boot. Reinstalling Visual C++ and basically everything which was told to do here...
However oddly another Thing did the Trick for me. I´m running a dual screen Setup and somehow BFV doesnt like one Monitor plugged into the Graphics Card while the other is plugged to the Mainboard HDMI. I disconnected both Monitors and plugged both to the graphics Card. Runs like a charm since then. So if anyone is running a dual screen Setup you might want to try playing with the monitor connnections.

THIS, thank you! I bought BFV as a gift for my boyfriend, who has been greatly enjoying 1 & 4, and it installed and worked on my pc, but on my boyfriend's all we got was the black loading screen and then back to the launcher. Updated all drivers, windows, uninstalled game, repaired, reinstalled, etc. He's new to PC gaming and was beyond giving up, but we tried unplugging both of his monitors and just plugging one back in and it bam, it immediately loaded. He's happily playing through all the intros now :-)
