the firestorm matchmaking is still broken.
pubg matchmake their players in the closest server.
fortnite matchmake their players in the closest server. (the server can also be choosen)
warzone matchmake their players in the closest server.
firestorm matchmake their players in the closest server and sometimes in a server out of region 5000 miles away over the ocean, this is the reason why i dont play the game and keep it uninstalled. 🙂

I think Firestorm only received one update post blue flowers / twin towers so it's unlikely there will be any fixes to matchmaking in June. I really enjoyed the mode when it first came out but now it seems like you're destined to match with players teaming up and/or ping issues ☹️
