To answer your question, it's not able for every single player to even get access to the Closed-Alpha once we know there will be one.
It's basically a limited number of player who will get invited to test it(they'll get a Key for it like in BF1).
Mostly these are known people in the Community, like YouTubers/Streamer or others.
At least the Open Beta should give everyone access then. 🙂

lie lie lie, to get access to the alpha you need to be youtuber or have a store that promotes the game or EAGAMES
Not true i'm a player only and i had access to alpha 1, same for a friend. BF1 gameplay hours and activity on Answer HQ probably helped to select.
