I'm currently having issues where upon start up of Battlefield V I keep getting audio stutter issues, anywhere from every few seconds to randomly the sound will just drop out and then start again almost like a crack, i've tried updating my drivers etc but nothing seems to fix the issue, don't have any problems like this with other games or the last BF1, is anyone else getting this problem or know how I could fix it?

Hey @Shrapnel11, What audio system are you using? Try do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with your audio and BFV. Let me know if that works out for you. 🙂 /Atic

Hello, I have same problem (stuttering sound). Or mini sound freeze provoked by solder cry, soound of an airplane or tank....etc.
My computer :
I5 9600K (no oc)
Ram : 16 Go DDR4 @3000mhz (2x8go)
RTX 2070
SSD
power suplly 750w
windows 10
last drivers installed
I have formatted several times and clean installation windows but always problems....

What Audio system do you use? ( On the motherboard and what you're listening to).

Have you had a look in there any updates to the motherboard audio card?

Hello,
I use audio chipset Realtek and I installed last version published by Gigabyte https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/Z390-UD-rev-10#kf
I installed last Bios F7 for my motherboard.
On my computer : tested with only installation battlefield 5. I always had this problem but since last patch it's worse. I do not install the nvidia audio driver.
On my computer dx11 unplayable. DX12 works better.
I had the same worries at the beginning of battlefield 4 : same thing, mini sound freeze provoked by solder cry, soound of an airplane or tank and sounds sniper tag. And then the problem has been corrected with a patch. Now bf4 is always fluid.

I play on screen 120hz G-sync and when I have stuttering or lag sound I tested setting 60hz : problem solved, agme fluid. I change in 120hz to test : stuttering.

why did you remove the video's? I was wondering if it was same problem I was having.

I hope all of you have resolved the issue on you machines. If not, I also ran into the same issue and tried all the steps mentioned in this thread (except removing drivers). Nothing helped.
I contacted the BF5 tech support, they made me run the the game as admin (right click on game icon -> run as admin). the problem is resolved.
some times your computer might not give all the accesses required by the game. You just have to let your computer know that you trust the game.
