Battlefield V cheating

There seem to be new mods out now.  It's very difficult to use the report player option for cheating because 90% of the time you don't know who's doing it.  The mods these guys are using now do things like adjust bullet damage for an entire team.  In some cases, I've seen players magically appear in front of me already shooting.  Recently, I've been getting kicked out of servers randomly back to the game session launch screen. Today, I put down 5 rounds from a stationary gun on Iwo Jima on an LVT... Was that guy getting heals or able to take that amount of damage? No... but chances are - that player isn't the one doing it so how can I report him? Players are not able to report "suspects" for these kinds of mods.  What is your anti-cheat team doing about this issue?  Why not just make it policy to flat-out ban VPN based netblocks?  Just drop their packets and refuse to allow them to connect to origin.  These jerks are always going to find some way to circumvent your anti-cheat software.  They'll continue to inject whatever code they feel like.  They'll continue to make it look like they're not cheating when in actuality, they are. I haven't purchased a Battlefield game from EA for over 8 years and refuse to buy any fps based game because of this. I did purchase Madden 20 because EA finally listened to the community and ported it to PC - this is one of the few times I can recall EA doing something the community had requested.  Battlefield V was free with my video card - I didn't purchase IV and unless you do something about it I won't purchase VI either.  Listen to your community.  Stop playing the man behind the curtain, "Nothing to see here, move along."

Unfortunally we can't make something more on this player community forum than give you the below link:

If you are in game and suspect another user of cheating then please report them using the steps in this help article: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/report-players-for-cheating-abuse-and-harassment/

It may take time but their account will be studied.

    Here last message of EA_Atic:

Our work against cheating in Battlefield V will continue, too. The members of our anti-cheat team are working daily towards making the battlefield experience as free of foul play as possible. Discussing technical detail into our methods may unfortunately make cheating worse, but we want you to know that we’re constantly fighting the battle.

As a reminder, there are steps you can take to help us keep the fight fair. You can report suspected cheaters through the Origin overlay if you're playing on PC, or through your respective consoles if you're playing on Xbox One or PlayStation® 4. This walkthrough will show you how. Also, protect your EA Account so it won’t be compromised and used by cheaters. Here’s how it’s done.

With this update, we'd like to remind you to please report cheating through our official channels, instead of discussing or highlighting it via forums. This means going forward we'll close threads regarding cheating to ensure our dedicated teams can action the reports via the appropriate channels.

With that said I'm closing this topic.

Stuff like bullets not registering and players popping up seemingly out of nowhere is fairly common and can be attributed to simple lag most of the time. As for passive cheats - cheating is cheating; official reports with video evidence are currently your best chance at getting rid of unwanted players. The team will look through the videos and form a plan from there.

The team can't really discuss their exact steps because it helps cheaters work around it, or so they have said in the past. You missed out not playing BF4 - while it did have a rocky start, the fixes they made really helped.

Agreed if you feel like you someone is cheating please use video evidence followed by user name and send it to the link @WindowsManTv_CZE has provided, hopefully the team will follow it up and solve your issue.
