I have had no more issues since last reported. I have upped the FPS in the in game settings to 200 FPS and no issues. I am going to turn my overclock back to 4.9GHz on all 6 cores and see what happens.
The same thing happened to me weeks ago. It does not happen to me with other games, not even with the return of NFS. It has been a while since BFV is giving my PC many serious problems. I will not play again until they are solved, I will not compromise the integrity of my PC. I have an i7 6700k without OC and the temperature increases to 70 ° C only with this game, apparently it consumes more cpu than gpu.
I have used stress tests like the Prime95 and the temperature does not rise to 50 ° C. The Unigine Overlay and the 3D Mark (all tests) do not generate bottlenecks or collisions, in fact they work very well and at normal temperatures. I have changed the thermal paste, I have tested the ventilation systems to rule out all kinds of cooling problems. And as for the GPU, I have a Strix 1080 A8G 11Gbps and it's cooler than a lettuce.
Now, considering that most of us have nVIDIA, the only thing I have left to eliminate the doubt is to go back to the old drivers to see if the problem is due to nVIDIA RTX updates, but I doubt a lot, since Una de what Lo What worries me most is the high temperature of the CPU.

Battlefield 5 comes with a lot of bugs, bad optimization causing freeze in gameplay.

Since the latest patch my computer restarts once it gets to the bfv splash loading screen. I have done all the above steps and still nothing is working. Performed a clean removal of origin and redownloaded bfv 3 times. I can run BF1,BF4,CSGO,Pubg,Dota2,Blops4 and Autocad with no issues.Drivers are all up-to-date and windows up-to-date.
