Battlefield V keeps turning FreeSync on my monitor!

Hello everyone, I have been dealing with this issue since the game was installed the last week, and this problem only happend when I launch Battlefield V.

I have a Nvidia RTX 2060 Super and my monitor is the AOC G2590FX (is FreeSync but Gsync compatible).

On the Nvidia control panel I have Gsync disable and my monitor on the OSD menu tells that FreeSync is disable but when I launch Battleifled V the screen does the black screen/lost signal for like 3 seconds and then tells that it is on FreeSync mode but on the Nvidia control panel it tells that Gsync compatible is not enable.

I tried to re-install the GPU drivers, install other versions and disable GPU Hardware Acceleration. The menu OSD on the monitor doesnt have an option to disable FreeSync.

Any idea of what is happening? I played BF3, BF4 and BF1 and this problem doesnt happend on that games.

  • The screen may turn into black (with sound keep running) for one or two seconds before recover.

This happens about once every five minutes. Both in the loading screen and in the game.

This will happen in both Battlefield 5 and Battlefield 1.

    My computer spec:

    Ryzen2600

    Radeon RX580

    ASUS B450M TUF GAMING

There is not sound when it goes black, and if I change the window to for example a web navegator then my screen keeps turning black like trying to change the FreeSync On to Off.

Again, this only happens to me with the BF5, BF1 works just fine.

  • No I cant, my monitor doesnt have the option on the OSD menu

  • @EA_Atic only with Battlefield V, btw I tried using full screen, bordeless and windowed modes and happend with all modes, change from DX12 to DX11 and same problem, trying to force the monitor technology to fixed refresh in the global configuration and nothing is working, everytime I launch the game my screen blink black without sound and monitor says FreeSync mode
