I don't believe there has been any official word on MTX but it's my assumption Battlefield Coins ("Boins") won't carry over - Very few titles allow you to do this.

I wouldn't mind if they keep BFV weekly missions to get BF Currency.
I guess.
Skins, Characters.
Like in most modern MMO games.
IMO 2042 should be F2P, but you need to buy game and buy also skins and characters.
I have high hopes for this game, it looks awesome.

I don’t see why they would
Well if Battlefield Coins don't carry over to 2042 then they should change
the name to Battlefield V coins. We earned those Battelfield coins, they are the one's that called it Currency therefore we should be able to use them in all Battlefield games.
If they don't allow it then I wont be buying anymore ever.

The Call of Duty franchise allows this. What I learned from the battlepass transferred over to the next title I played. You can access all their titles from a single in-game launcher. Battlefield has the same kind of thing on PC for all titles, except 2042. I'm not sure why that is?
And we are supposed to be competing with them?
