Battlefield V: Squad VOIP Not Working

Squad members can hear my microphone via VOIP. However, I can not hear them.

I am not having an issue with anything other than BFV.

I have searched the internet, and many others (on reddit) are experiencing the same issue. 

Any suggestions to fix (such as using headphones as default playback device, etc.) have not helped me as I already had everything set up that way.

I'm using Steelseries Engine for my headphones. 

Help will be appreciated.

    I had voip going through my monitor speakers. Fixed it:

    Look in Origin settings make sure it is set to your settings.

    Go into the Windows audio settings and disable all other speakers and mic's you aren't using. 

    This fixed the voip going through the monitor speakers and it works fine now.

    What the * does this mean...  I looked in Origin and I could not find ANY of what you were talking about.  Still waiting for a fix for this.

    In my case;

    Go to speaker/output settings in Windows and make sure the 'Default communication device' is set to your preferred headphones/speakers.

    My speakers would play the normal game sounds but VOIP was coming from the 'Default Communication device' which in my case was set to my microphone which was showing in playback devices as well. Image attached showing details.

    I'm going to close this thread to prevent further "necros", since it hasn't been active for a couple of years until recently.

    If anyone is experiencing this problem, please feel free to create a new thread or check if there's an active one to post in about the problem.
