I want to talk about the good support experience I had with an EA HELP called Arun. In my chat with this person, we talked about my issues with the game, which I will summarize here:
- I was playing a game that I really enjoyed, that is why I bought it, but with the latest ttk changes it is impossible to play for me, it has no way to be enjoyed, it is not the game I bought. The change is way too big, you can say "it's just a little less damage" but a little less damage means 1 more bullet, for semi and slr that is 33% or 50% MORE time to kill! it is INSANE.
- The EA HELP told me that the game is being worked on constantly, that is needs It needs time, testing, investigating and fixing. That is NOT HOW IT WORKS. You do time, testing and fixing BEFORE lunch, not after people paid for it, I paid for a full game, not for a work in progress, that is what the beta should have been for. I played the beta, it was great, I bought the game, it was great, now it is a different game. - Arun told me that "the new changes are brought up by popular player feedback ", I would like to see that feedback that guns killed too fast, I have never seen it. All I have seen is that people complain about DYING too fast, not KILLING. And we all now by now that it is an issue fixed on the server side, the ttd, not the ttk. Noone asked for ttk changes, but ttd, because people are dying in one frame because the server sends all the damage in one package and you seem to die instantly.
- Making a separate queue for the old ttk IS NOT THE SOLUTION. I have already experienced that in BF3 and BF4 and it just divides the players, meaning you have less servers to choose from, find it hard to find full and lasting matches, it just doesn't work, it never worked, I don't want to be limited to the few servers and game modes hosted for hardcore. Right now I just can play conquest, so I basically don't own the full game anymore and I have queue times of 30 minutes and 10v10 matches. That is not the BF5 experience I had and it is not what was advertised. Just like you removed premium so the players don't get divided, you have to keep just one ttk for the same reason.
Arun from EA HELP was very polite and understanding of my concerns, and for that part I am really glad. If DICE wants to change BF5 into this game, and that is what most people wanted (even though I don't see anyone wanting this) so be it. But acknowledge that the change made makes it a completely different game and many people paid for something else, so all I ask is refund exceptions to everyone not enjoying the new ttk. That is all I want, I want the game I bought or my money, that is nothing but fair. And I want it for everyone, we all deserve fair treatment.
