Battlefield V/5 resets settings and prologue story every time.
Hi I have a BF V problem, when I start the game it resets all of my settings, all of mine keybidings, all of the resolution thing and more. Mainly this problem is annoying, bc I have to play the prologue story again and again.
I tried:
-changing PROSAFE_tmp to only PROSAFE
-Repair the game through origin uninstall and reinstall the game
-Try to turn off the windows defender
-contacted EA support 11times and all they helped was... Yeah, we are working on it.

Adding this info:
This could happen to players that upload all their data to the Microsoft OneDrive and then delete everything in the local document folder. Windows would replace the local document folder with a shortcut to the OneDrive document.I had this problem aswell.
For me it was Windows Defender who prevented BFV to save changes to the save file.
Fix that worked for me:
- Open Virus & threat protection by clicking on the start button and start writing "Virus & threat protection".
- Under "Virus & Threat Protection settings" there's a link that says "manage settings", click on it.
- Scroll down until you see "Exclusions" and click on the link under it that says "Add or remove exclusions".
- Click on "Add an exclusion" and select the folder where you've installed BFV.
Since I've had this problems with other games, I've excluded my entire games folder.
