BF5 does not start (detected AMD Radeon driver 0.0.0) Windows 10 / AMD Vega 64

I am just now having this same issue. I have NEVER had an AMD GPU in my machine before, so there are no old files to clean up.

I installed a 6800 XT, using the latest certified drivers directly from AMD, then installed the driver-only package.

Now BF5 gives me the same detection as 0.0.0.

The .cfg tip does not work per the last post.
