the game keeps crashing on ps4. I bought the game digitally through the playstore but it keeps crashing. Tried everything and its still not working. Did a hard reset on my playstation and downloaded the game again. I keep getting the error CE-34878-0 error. It happens when i want to login to my ea account. So frustrating. Fix your * EA

I have been having the same issue. Bought the the definitive edition on the PSN, but both my ps4 pro and ps5 crashes when it tries to login on EA just at the beginning before I can do anything.

I am having this exact same issue. I bought battlefield v from the playstation store and keeps giving me the same error code when starting the game after trying to setup EA account. I tried everything. It does this on 3 different PSN accounts on Playstation 4 and on Playstation 5. And so the looks of this problem according to this chat. If you buy the game right now you get ripped off cause the game does not work. I have another friend on Playstation that has this same issue as well he just bought the game too and he is getting the same exact error code at the same time trying to play the game.
Problem solved go to ea.com and link ea account to PSN. I was able to get battlefield to work. Don't try to link account on the playstation itself do it on ea.com. there is a youtube video on how to link ea account fro. Ea.com
