BFV Choppy Frames after 2042 Advertisement

So I have this very odd bug; ever since the BF2042 ad for Haven dropped my game both in menu and in match have been extremely choppy, restarting the game and/or my PC doesnt fix it. My husband also has the same issue, he had it before the ad but it got as bad as mine after the ad dropped.

The odd thing is there is a temporary solution; if I change my Resolution or going from Full Screen to Borderless and vice versa will return my game back to normal for the most part but only for that round. Once a new round starts or I back out to the main menu the issue arises again.

Does anyone know what is the source of the issue? I havnt attempted re-installing the game but Im afraid to do so due to how long it takes and really only want to do it as a last ditch effort. If anyone has any ideas feel free to post, thank you!
