BFV Ray Tracing + DLSS + 4k = Game Crash - game unplayable

Product: Battlefield V
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
AMD or Nvidia Model Number NVIDIA 2080TI
Enter RAM memory size in GB 32GB
Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Game Menu
In which game menu were you when the bug occurred? When loading BFV
Please select your region North America
On which server did this happen? All
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Always
Summarize your bug After the latest updates to nvidia drivers and the bfv game - the game will not load anymore. The only workaround is to use GeForce Experience and set the graphics to Performance - that way it disables Ray Tracing and DLSS - thus making the game work again.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Simple, install BFV, enable Ray tracing and DLSS on 4k = Crash
What happens when the bug occurs? The game crashes and it returns to Windows. No error messages
What should be happening instead? at least get an error message?

I already opened a technical support case with EA, the support staff advised me to also post the bug here.

Developers of BFV - please fix this

    Hello,

I was advised by the AE technical support to also post my concerns about the newest updates to Nvidia drivers and BFV:

    My setup:

All hardware and software running the latest firmware and updates as Feb 20:

    i7 8086k

    Asus Code X

    32GB G.Skill DDR4 3200

    2 x EVO 970 NVME, 2 x EVO 860 SSDs

    NVidia 2080Ti FE

    EVGA 1600W G2

    EVGA CLC 280

    Razer Blackwidow V2

    Razer Deathadder

    Razer Mouse pad RGB

    Astro A40T

    Windows 10 1809

Basically if I choose the recommended graphic setup from GeForce Experience, the game sometimes will load, but if I join any game (multiplayer or campaign) it will crash. No error messages, it just falls back to Windows 10.

The game runs fine if I disable Ray tracing and DLSS on 4k at 60fps (limitation of my monitor for now).

So please - developers of BFV - fix this issue -

    Hey @ftmiranda

A new driver was just released yesterday so be sure to download that and see if you're experiencing the same crashes. Have you considered capping your frame rate to see if that prevents crashing?

We have a post on this in the Battlefield forums as well where they mention the resolutions you need to be at. For your 2080 ti you'll want 3840x2160, Ultra Quality Preset, Ultra DXR, DLSS on.

    Hello @EA_Blueberry

Thank you for the follow up. Installing the new driver, 419.17 actually helped with Ubisoft's Assassins Creed Origins and Assassins Creed Odyssey (they were crashing with the driver version 418.91 - so I guess that would help with BFV.

About BFV I really don't know if this new driver really fixes the issue or not since I uninstalled the game due to lack of new game content and that the game is plagued with cheaters. I really tried to play the game but it takes hours to find a server that apparently is cheater free. (I use the US West and EAST servers),

I'm not just talking about the illegal cheats like the aimbot, enemy player detection and the one that edit the damage for example of the 1911 pistol (that can kill at more than 400m), I'm also talking about the "cheaters" that use keyboard and mouse macros to fire semi-automatic guns like machine guns and do some crazy movements that make hard to impossible to win a gun fight.

I know you are going to suggest to post this cheater complaint in the forum, I already did and EA did not address that (and hundreds if not thousand of posts mention cheating in BFV getting out of control) - I guess people are just uninstalling the game and playing some other game that is more enjoyable. (I did that, having a lot of fun with ACO and AC Odyssey not to mention that Division 2 beta was super cool - even the multiplayer).
