BFVTrial.exe (demo) removal

Got both BFV.exe & BFVTrial.exe in my Origin folder, with each update to the game they both update. BFVtrial.exe is a remnant of the Origin Access Basic - BFV standard edition demo. Which seems unncessary to me, since I own the BFV deluxe edition + an 'notifications' eye sore. There doesn't seem to be a tile for the demo edition so I can't uninstall it, it's not hidden and manually deleting it doesn't work (with each update its repaired).

So anyway known how to remove the BFVTrial.exe? It's bothering me.  🤔

I deleted my BFVTrial.exe and repaired and it is set to return. If that is not causing an issue with the actual game I would not even try to uninstall/reinstall, which may or may not get rid of that file.

it's not causing any problems with the game, it just bugs me. 😞

Did try out some BF1 fixes; AnwersHQ, but they didn't work. The BFVTrial.exe returned to haunt me...

This has cropped up a few times in the forum.

I did mention to a friend about completely un-installing Battlefield 5 and the Origin client then running something like Ccleaner to remove any trace files/registry files etc.

Then do the reverse - re-install everything and hopefully you should only be left with the one .exe for BF5 for the fully qualified purchase and not the trial.

Let me know if you did this and if worked - I would do the same but it does not bug me (yet)

    Best of Luck!

Did notice when using @Weebel_Wobble method (from the link I posted); search for "battlefield" in Origin search bar (top left), the trial does show up, which can be uninstalled using right-click on it.

But, doing so also uninstalls the remainder of the game. After reinstalling the game (in my case the deluxe version), the BFVTrial.exe is present in the Origin game files directory. But it isn't shown anymore in the Origin application, as well as the notifications. I can live with that. 😃
