It has nothing to do with the connection, at least not from the players side. I have the same issue (black screen, and I am somehow connected to the game because I can use the chat), plus all my assignments lists are empty and inactive, and the weekly challenges suddenly disappeared: I can enter the screen, but there are no descriptions and no lines between the circles, like if part of the interface is suddenly gone.
