I too am having this issue. I think what happened was I hit support rank 20, presumably unlocking the MG42. However, at that stage, I backed out of the match rather than going to completion. Initially, when I went to my armory and saw it still locked, I figured that perhaps the server hadn't reported my score yet, so it would unlock later.
However, here roughly 21 hours later, it still hasn't unlocked. I can't progress farther than rank 20, so it seems like it's never going to unlock. It always just shows me the "This will unlock next round" message.
(Edit: I see the patch notes say the 14th. I didn't realize it was after midnight, so I was whining that the patch didn't fix my issue, but it's still about 10 hours away lol. Will see what happens then!)
Can confirm. The issue is based on exiting the game during the round you received your level up. Did that twice, bug was there both time
im getting the same no unlocks it seemed to start 3days ago as my first 5 lvls unlocked then it just stopped for some reason, went to chat to help team and there lame * response was wait till the game launches, i proceeded to explain we paid premium for early access and this is not an acceptable response but got no where
Confirmed, patch did nothing.
I've had it happen with me staying untul the round closes.
I hope they fix this problem soon it's getting annoying loosing gun fights because I'm stuck with the first weapons

- Same exact thing happened to me night before last. I contacted customer support and the dude was awesome, went into my account somehow and unlocked it for me! Took about 5 minutes total from start to finish.
I am having same issues as OP. Recon level 17, no revolver mk. IV, no RSC. After unlocking BOTH in one stellar round- I crashed near the end with a random DirectX error.
To the post above- I contacted support and was directed to do appdata and programdata wipe with no avail. Then when the tasks of doing ipconfig, Winsock, and msconfigs- I knew I was going to be without a paddle up a rocky river.
We need an official fix for this outline- while many things can be gamebreaking, and many people cannot play- this does it for me.
Like working for a zero paycheck while others get bonuses

So, just to close the loop on my situation, I did contact Origin support. It took my agent a while to understand the issue, and he didn't initially get that I couldn't just "level up" again to get the weapon (since I was at max level 20 for support), but he did add the missing gun to my inventory. So yes, if you have this issue and are at the max level with it not unlocking, I'd suggest contacting support for assistance.
