Can I buy new BF5 account without being banned again?

Hello there.

I was banned in BF5 twice(I'm lucky one). I didn't violate any rules in User Agreement. Yes you may get ban by mistake too and there are real examples from BF1 too so there is no need to put sceptical glasses on. ToS department wasn't useful and they declined all my appeals by using the same copypasted response. I'm big fan of BF5 and BF1. You can check my stats below.

I didn't use cheats but I assume that I could receive ban for some third party software which anti-cheat system falsely considers as cheat or exploit. I play all BF games from the same PC. By the way I still wonder why I didn't receive ban in BF1 then.

Anyway my main question is whether I can buy new BF5 through another account and play it from the same PC without fear of being banned. I guess it's better to unistall Windows completely before that. Thank you for your time and advice.

  • What kind of third party programs are you using? On my PC there are at least 13 programs running in the background while i'm playing and never had a problem.

i never heard of people got banned by accident, they definitely,in some way,did something that violate the rules.

You can buy as many copies of the game you want in as many different accounts you want but i have to warn you, there are Hardware bans in BFV! maybe next time an account and a fresh copy won't solve your problem and you'll have to change parts in your PC that cost! think about that before opening any.."third party" programs.

Here is the tweet of a DICE employee confirming the hardware bans  https://twitter.com/Merson316/status/1107766132231028738 .

IMO your stats in both accounts are suspicious!

Hello @BalrogDurinsBane  if you are banned you should contact EA help : https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/

i hope they can help you!

  • Hello @BalrogDurinsBane

DICE confirmed that you are not allowed to use third party programs.. So your Bans are correct and you can buy new Battlefield and play it without third party programs..

Btw: AHQ is not here for Ban reports...
  • There are examples from BF1 where people were banned by mistake and then were unbanned. Again no need to wear sceptical glasses. Btw what exactly is suspicious in my stats? I don't see any issue there. If I were real cheater I wouldn't even bother you and wasting my time here. I'd just go ahead, purchase some cheap(probably hacked) bf account, buy cheats and play. I'm not that type of person. Believe me or not. I don't care. I spent around 600 hours in BF1 and I wasn't banned. I spent about 200 hours in Battlefront 2 and I wasn't banned. The same with BF4 but I haven't played it for a while. I spent over 400 hours in BF5 before banThanks for sharing info about hardware bans. That's what I was afraid of. Perhaps that's why my second account was banned just within 3 days after initial purchase even though I didn't violate rules in User Agreement Section 6.

    Hi @chestybulldog

Unfortunately only the EA team can solve these problems and guide you on why you were banned. If your are banned multiple time it's is probably for the same reason, maybe a third-party software or other thing. Ask to EA what do you can do to not be banned.
