Cannot Start Games Using The New Anti Cheat System

After Battlefield 5 and 2042 updated to the new anti cheat system I cannot play both of them.

In the case of Battlefield 5 an initial screen of "We noticed your computer is offline.....", then a splash screen, then the notification again.

In the case of 2042 nothing is shown except for a splash screen. The game does appear to run in the background though, but soon crashes.

I've tried everything I found digging through past versions of this problem, yet nothing helped.
