Can't launch games

Hello, I've had this problem for a really long time and it's starting to get to me. No one has been able to help me yet, but I hope it changes now, I might be naive. Whenever I try launching a game (not all games, only few like BFV, NFS heat or BF 1 on steam) the EA launcher closes, the game tries to launch (I think it even shows up in task manager but I'm not sure I'm not home right now) and the launcher opens back up and nothing happens. I haven't tried resetting my PC to factory settings, but that's the last thing I wanna do, obviously nobody wants to lose everything they have on their PC.
