Hi all,
When I type some words in the chat box during the game and hit Enter, the chat box will just disappeared after "Enter" is pressed instead of sending my words into the general chat section. I know Enter is set to open/close the chat box in default settings, but Idk how to fix this problem. I tried to set another key to open/close chat box but it does not work. Anyone got the same problem?? Just wondering how to fix it. I cannot even type "GG" after each game xD.
I would suggest to reset the menus/UI:
Delete the contents of:
C:\Users\(your user name here)\Documents\Battlefield 5\settings
Then run a repair on the game.
Voila!
n.b. You will need to check and change any preffered/saved options again.
Does anyone still have this issue after the patch today?
Yep and im pissed off. This is bs EA wont give me any help. The patch didnt work and Im assuming that it has to do with the ' - ' in my name.
Really ruins the gameplay for me when you cant communicate with the rest of your team or squad that donthave voip.
