Hi Everyone,
I`m playing BF5 now since it came out. But appearantly i cant typ anything in chat. Neither my Order requests or other standard stuff like affirmative etc. shows.
Not even in squads my typed text etc doesnt show. This is pretty frustrating.
I have checked through the options, but i havent touched anything since i installed the game anyway. So does anyone know whats going on?

I Have the same problem and i am also hoping on a quick fix, cause not being able to use the chat is really annoying. specially on a teamwork game.
I'm being blocked cause my name contains the words fubar which is ironic cause its a widely used expression in ww2. (not a big fan of the filter in general )
But i can't just change my name without it loosing its meaning.
Have the same issue, 4N4LYZE is my nickname and can't write anything in chat. Not even any feedback.
this is the topic on the nicknames being considered profane by the chat filter because they were chosen before the filter had been introduced, occuring independently of the platform, hence many people are unable to chat because anything they type is automatically filtered due to their nickname being blocked.
the issue is still present, just tried to change my nickname back to necrophyte and i still cannot.

For PC users this is still being looked into and the current workaround is to change your Origin ID if the current one you have does not allow the chat.
