Can't use chat in battlefield 5

So i have been having this problem since BETA, i could use chat normally in the 2 closed alphas but since beta when i try to write in chat i can't send any message, i can write but when i send the me...

    Hello everyone, 

    We have a new dedicated topic here regarding feedback for chat filter or can't type in chat.

It has been a little over a month since I've seen or heard anything on chat logs not showing for Xbox. Has there been any updated info released as to what or when a fix will come through??

Xbox One-Specific Improvements

  • Fixed an issue which could result in a black screen if players resumed the game from standby mode after having played single player.
  • The “chat” window is once again visible.

    Hi Blueberry, 

    I still cant type in the chat at all. Not even orders, requests or anything with the Q button (PC gamer). 

    I did not have these issues with BF4, 3 or 1

    Please fix it because its very annoying..


    I cant give you more details because i dont know what specific details other then: 

    1. It doesnt work

    2. not even after reinstalling the game

    3. Requesting orders or such doesnt work as well. 

    4. PC game version.
